BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – Bronson split a non-conference doubleheader at St. Philip, dropping the opener 2-1 and taking the nightcap 10-0.
Each team mustered three hits in the first game – Brenden Bell had an RBI single for the Vikings, Kameron Haviland had a double, and Ethan Cossairt added a single.
Three pichers combined for a three-hit, six-inning shutout in the second game for Bronson, with Hudson Wotta getting the start and the win. The Vikings cranked out 12 hits total; Brett Sikorski went 3-for-3 with a triple and 3 RBI, Bell hit a double and a triple and drove in 3 runs, and Brendan Withington had an RBI double. Bronson’s record stands at 14-2.
