COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater Board of Public Utilities officials say a raccoon at the Bennett Street substation was responsible for a 35 minute power outage that affected a portion of the city Thursday night.
The outage took place just after 9:00 p.m..
CBPU Director Jeff Budd says a portion of downtown lost power, as did some areas on the east side of the city..
CBPU crews were able to quick resolve the issue.
The utility apologized for the inconvenience caused by the outage.
