COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch County is on track to officially finalize its recent election results, with County Clerk Chris Ransbottom confirming that the certification of the November 3 general election will be completed Tuesday, November 10.
County Administrator Frank Walsh shared the update during Thursday’s county commissioners meeting, outlining the upcoming timeline for the county’s leadership transition in the prosecutor’s office.
Terri Norris will be sworn in as prosecutor, followed by John Vincent as Public Defender.
Victor Fitz has served as interim prosecutor following Zach Stempien’s appointment as the 15th Circuit Court Judge back in March.
