UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – Graduation season in Branch County kicks off Sunday afternoon, when the 70 members of the Union City High School Class of 2016 will receive their diplomas and certificates in ceremonies beginning at 2pm at the Florence & Merle McNett Fieldhouse. Doors will open at 1pm. Already named as Co-Valedictorians are Rachel Grinnell and Camry Wages, with Seth Bruce the Salutatorian.
Commencement exercises for Pansophia Academy will be held next Friday, June 3rd, at 7pm on the lawn of the Academy, with the Pansophia gym serving as the rain location. Both Quincy and Tekonsha will have their graduation ceremonies next Sunday, June 5th, at 2pm, at the Quincy High School Athletic Field and Tekonsha High School gym, respectively. Graduation season wraps up with ceremonies for Bronson on June 9th at 7pm in their gym and for Coldwater on June 12th at 5pm inside the Coach Floyd Eby Gym, with an overflow section of seats set up inside the high school cafeteria to watch a live video simulcast of the ceremony.
