QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Four new members of Quincy High School’s Hall of Fame will be formally inducted during Friday night’s basketball games against Jonesville.
This years inductees are Chuck Cook, Cody Everline, Jody Robson Andrews and Rick Vollmer.
Cook was a 1969 graduate of Quincy High School. During his high school days, Cook competed in football, basketball, baseball and track. He later became a teacher and coach at Quincy and served as the Quincy Varsity Club advisor for 36 years. Cook coached freshman, junior varsity and varsity basketball as well as varsity and junior varsity football. His basketball teams won 209 games as well as two conference titles and a district championship.
Andrews is a 1978 graduate who was a three sport athlete participating in track, basketball and cheerleading.
Everline is a 2006 graduate and was known as a leader both on and off the playing field. He was a gifted athlete in football, basketball and track.
Vollmer graduated in 1974 and earned 15 varsity letters in the four years he attended Quincy High School. He played on three varsity teams in his freshman year.
In addition, the 1967 Quincy Orioles football team will be honored on the 50th anniversary of their undefeated season when they won the Little C Championship. The team was coached by Dan Ludlow as they finished ranked 10th in the state in the A.P. poll and 12th in the U.P.I. poll.
