AUBURN HILLS, MI (WTVB) – The Pistons traded swingman Darrun Hillliard to Houston yesterday in exchange for cash considerations. The Rockets then sent him to the L.A. Clippers as part of Houston’s deal for guard Chris Paul. Last season, Hilliard averaged 3.3 points in 39 games for Detroit. He was originally drafted by the Pistons as the 38th overall pick out of Villanova in the 2015 NBA Draft.
The Rockets acquired Paul from the L.A. Clippers in exchange for a 2018 first-round draft pick and seven players.
