COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – No one was injured Wednesday morning when someone opened fire at the Clemens Food Group Welcome Center at the corner of North Michigan and Seeley on Coldwater’s north side.
The incident happened at about 10:20 a.m.
Coldwater Police say the suspect fired several gun shots at the front of the building. The building was occupied during the incident with employees and civilians. No one was injured at the scene.
The Hope Network Neuro Rehabilitation Center next door as well as a vehicle in the parking area were also struck by gun shots from the suspect.
Witnesses at the scene described the suspect as a black male with longer style hair. He had an unknown type of handgun. The suspect was wearing a white colored shirt and was last seen fleeing the scene in a gray colored vehicle.
