JACKSON, MI (WTVB) – In boys high school golf, Coldwater finished fifth Wednesday in the third Interstate 8 Jamboree of the season at Arbor Hills Golf Course in Jackson. Coldwater had a team score of 176. Jackson Lumen Christi won with a score of 168.
Leading the way for Coldwater was Noah Waterbury with a 42. Alec Keplinger shot a 44, Kyle Herman and Grey Skudlarick each had 45’s, Joe Hicks carded a 50 and Blake Yates shot a 54..
On Tuesday, Coldwater traveled to the Grande Golf Course in Jackson to participate in the Onsted Invitational and finished fifth out of 19 teams. Coldwater was led by Alec Keplinger who shot an 83 which was good enough for eighth place. Kyle Herman had an 88, Noah Waterbury shot a 91, Joe Hicks had a 96 and Grey Skudlarick rounded out Coldwater’s scoring with a 105.
Concord edged Quincy by one shot Tuesday to win the Big Eight Conference Jamboree hosted by Springport at Duck Lake Country Club. Concord finished with a 188 while the Orioles had a 189. Union City was third with a 193 while Bronson finished sixth.
Lawson Tell fired a 43 for the Orioles while Nick Collyer had a 45 for the Chargers and Brandon Hyska tied for the low round with Homer’s Troy Ladd as they each carded a 41.
