ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – A change of venue request in the child seduction case of former Fremont, Indiana track and cross country coach Moses Castillo has been denied.
Steuben County Circuit Court judge Allen Wheat issued his ruling following a hearing on the defense motion that past Monday.
The 1994 Coldwater High School graduate is charged with five counts of child seduction in connection with an alleged sexual relationship he had with a former Fremont High School athlete starting in 2015.
A three day jury trial is scheduled to start February 6, 2019. Plea negotiations are scheduled to terminate on January 14, 2019.
Castillo is free after posting ten percent of a $10,000 bond.
A no contact order has been issued on behalf of the alleged victim in the case.
