COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – There was a house fire late last night in Coldwater Township. Branch County 911 Central Dispatch said the alarm for the blaze at 308 South Michigan Avenue came in at 10:02 p.m.when the homeowner called to report an electrical outlet fire in a bedroom.
According to Central Dispatch, Coldwater firemen discovered smoke in the residence upon arrival and had the fire under control in less than 10 minutes. Life Care Ambulance responded but there were no injuries.
The fire department was on the job for just under an hour. There was no word on a damage estimate.
