COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – There is a limited schedule of high school sports around Branch County Monday. The Coldwater High School girls golf team will play in the Perry-Judson Invitational at Glenbrier Golf Course in Perry
In boys soccer, Quincy will open their season at home against Pennfield.
Meantime in club soccer, a group of young women from Coldwater participated in a summer soccer league in Fort Wayne. The Coldwater Legacy girls 16U team has a record of 7-1-2 and won their semi-final match this past weekend 1-0.
They will play for the league championship Saturday at Kreager Park in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The Union City High School Athletic Department has announced that after meeting with the Big 8 Conference athletic directors, they have had to make a schedule change for their home football game with Concord.
Due to the lack of officials and football officiating crews, the Chargers parents’ night that was scheduled for Friday, October 11 has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 12 at 7:00 p.m..
