COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch County Administrator Bud Norman told the Branch County Board of Commissioners during their work session on Friday that they are moving towards the cutting of trees and the clearing of the site of the new Branch County Jail.
After the trees are cleared and the stumps are removed, bids for the foundation will be brought to Commissioners in September.
The bidding for the project bonds is contingent on the cash flow which is being redone according to Norman.
He said by extending the cash flow, they can delay the bonding and save a considerable amount of money in interest.
Norman said the county was in a “good place” because the rates have continued to decrease.
