GIRARD TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Michigan State Police say there was a collision between a car and a motorcycle Monday afternoon on I-69 north of Coldwater in Branch County’s Girard Township.
The accident on southbound I-69 at Girard Road was reported to 911 Central Dispatch at 4:30 p.m. Monday. According to the State Police, the injuries in the crash, if there were any, were only minor.
According to troopers, the motorcycle was operated by a 55-year old man from Hudson, Indiana while the car was driven by a 31-year old Saginaw man.
Central Dispatch reported that Life Care Ambulance was called to respond while the Coldwater Fire Department was on the scene of the accident for around 15 minutes.
No further information was released by the State Police.
