CLEVELAND, OH (WTVB) – The Detroit Lions kick off against the Browns tonight in Cleveland in the final preseason game for both teams.
Detroit is looking for its first exhibition win, while Cleveland is 2-and-1.
Starters usually do not appear in the final tuneup as coaches get their last look at players working to make the roster. All 32 NFL teams have until 4:00 p.m. Saturday to reduce their rosters to 53 players.
The Lions have signed free-agent running back James Williams one day after releasing Zach Zenner.
Williams was originally signed by the Kansas City Chiefs this year as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Washington State. He also spent time with the Indianapolis Colts this preseason.
