COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Area Chamber of Commerce, Chamber members, and community residents joined the Branch County Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence /Naomi Davis Shelterhouse recently for the ribbon cutting and grand opening of the Chameleon Resale Store’s new location at 117 W. Chicago Street in Coldwater.
The Chameleon Resale Store does take resale donations directly at the store, but donations are also accepted at the Shelter House at 220 N. Michigan Avenue.
The Chameleon is open Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m, Fridays from 10:00 a.m.-6:00 a.m., and Saturdays 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
BCCADSV Executive Director Kim Hemker said at the ribbon cutting “We really just want to let everyone know that we are out here wanting to serve the community. We have an amazing staff that is ready to sit and talk to you about your situation, we offer free counseling and services for domestic and sexual violence survivors and their families. When this happens to us, it really happens to everyone around us that cares about us as well.”
BCCADSV locations are now open in Bronson on Mondays, Union City on Tuesdays, Coldwater on Wednesdays, and Quincy on Thursdays.
