KALAMAZOO, MI (WTVB) – Three Coldwater High School bowlers advanced to the MHSAA Division Two individual finals by finishing in the top ten during the regionals Saturday at Continental Lanes in Kalamazoo. Alec Keplinger finished sixth in the boys regional with a six game total of 1,233 which included a high game of 243. He only finished 65 pins out of first place.
Rilee Cooper-Lewis was sixth and Noella Keplinger was seventh for the Coldwater girls. Cooper-Lewis finished with a six game total of 1,092 which included a game of 247. Keplinger was two pins behind her teammate. She had a high game of 220.
Two Quincy bowlers have qualified for the MHSAA Division Three Individual State Finals. Cassie White finished third in the girls individual regionals in Flat Rock on Saturday. She had a six game total of 1,179 which included a high game of 225.
Brody Glei was seventh in the boys regional with a six game total of 1,173. He had a high game of 236.
Bronson’s Brandon Hyska finished sixth in the Division Four boys individual regionals at Jax 60 Lanes in Jackson and qualified for the MHSAA boys state bowling finals. He had a six game total of 1,189 which included a high game of 223.
Bronson’s Dakota Smith qualified for the MHSAA girls state bowling finals with a second finish at regionals. Her six game total was 1,063 which included a high game of 203.
