COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The case of a Coldwater man who was accused of allegedly firing gunshots in the 100 block of Roosevelt Street in Bronson during the early morning hours of December 23, 2018 has been bound over to Branch County Circuit Court.
32-year-old Starlin DeLeon-Sanchez waived his District Court preliminary exam on Thursday. He is charged with discharging a firearm from a vehicle.
Bronson Police report numerous residents called Branch County 911 after hearing multiple gunshots.
Investigators later found almost a dozen spent handgun casings that they say were fired from a moving vehicle.
Court documents indicate the suspect told police he fired at the ground after he had earlier gotten into an argument with a former girlfriend.
DeLeon-Sanchez is scheduled to appear for a Circuit Court pre-trial conference on February 4.
