BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – In high school basketball, Will Dunn scored 25 points and grabbed 17 rebounds while Caleb McCavit pitched in 17 points and Jordan Nelson added 13 points as the Quincy Orioles remained undefeated with a 62-46 victory over the upset-minded Bronson Vikings Tuesday night.
Bronson only trailed 27-21 at the half but Quincy pulled away in the second half. They outrebounded the Vikings 36-19 and had a 14-3 edge at the foul line. Quincy also outshot Bronson 43-37 percent.
Hudson Wotta led the Vikings with 15 points while Graham Eley had 13 points. Brett Sikorski had seven rebounds, seven assists and five steals.
Quincy improved to 11-0 overall and 7-0 in the Big 8 Conference.
Jonesville outscored Union City 28-19 in the second half to get the Big 8 Conference win at McNett Fieldhouse. Larson Kever led the Chargers with 10 points while Brendan Stuchell added eight points.
The Chargers are now 7-5 overall and 4-3 in the Big 8.
Tekonsha’s game with North Adams-Jerome was called off because of the weather.
