COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Two large Branch County road reconstruction projects are set to begin inthe next month.
The $1.5 million milling, chip sealing, and paving of a 10.1 mile stretch of South Angola Road from Fenn Road to the Indiana state line will begin Monday, July 22.
Most of the work will be done by Branch County Road Commission crews, and Engineer/Manager Jay Miller says one lane of traffic should be maintained during the project, which is scheduled to be completed by September 30, 2019.
A 3.9 mile asphalt repaving project on a stretch of Jonesville Road from Gorbell Road to Ray Quincy Road on the county’s northeast side will begin August 15. The work is expected to be completed within two weeks.
