UNION CITY, MI – Two Union City youngsters were arrested by the Village Police on Wednesday after they were accused of going through several mailboxes and looking for money and drugs.
One of the mailboxes belonged to Union City Police Chief Chris Mathis. A security camera at Mathis’s home recorded the incident.
19-year-old Clayton Fisher and a 14-year-old juvenile were both charged with trespassing and disorderly conduct.
Mathis told Fox 17 News a neighbor alerted him about what happened.
He also believes the two youngsters were given some bad information about drugs and money being in village mailboxes.
