COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Fencing has gone up around Coldwater Recreation Lanes property at 559 East Chicago Street in anticipation of the building’s demolition.
Once the bowling alley is torn down, a new Coldwater Dairy Queen store will be constructed on the site.
The another Dairy Queen store on South Division Street was torn down last August.
Todd Haidous, who owns the Angola Dairy Queen, closed on the Coldwater Recreation Lanes property at about the same time the Division Street DQ came down.
With the closing of Coldwater Recreation Lanes, Midway Lanes and Bronson Strike Zone are the only Branch County bowling alleys remaining.
