COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The first weekly Fresh Food Distribution from the South Michigan Food Bank took place this past Wednesday in the parking lot of the Ponderosa Steakhouse at 411 East Chicago in Coldwater.
It’s part of the Food Bank’s Fresh Food Initiative.
Distributions will take place every Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. through May 13th.
About 150 boxes of food were served this past Wednesday thanks to the support of the Branch County Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence, the Branch County United Way, McDonalds, the Ponderosa Steak House and Beginnings Care for Life.
