COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The City of Coldwater’s Planning Commission is scheduled to finalize Recreational Marijuana Establishment Ordinances during an electronic meeting on Monday night.
The discussion was scheduled to take place last month but the in person meeting was cancelled during the COVID-19 outbreak.
Monday’s meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. and the discussion to finalize the Draft Ordinances is the only item on the agenda.
Members of the public wishing to participate in the meeting through electronic means will have access. Details are available on the city’s website at www.coldwater.org.
Coldwater City Planner Dean Walrack says the ordinances create a framework for allowing recreational marijuana establishments within the City. He adds the ordinances are still drafts.
A final version will require a Public Hearing in the future after which a recommendation would be made to the City Council.
