COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch Intermediate School District Board of Education decided Wednesday to go forward with a future renovation project at the Branch Area Careers Center.
The board also approved the architect’s proposal and to seek bids for a construction manager.
The work would be done in three phases at an estimated cost of just under $4.8 million.
Phase one would involve renovation of the mezzanine. The culinary arts kitchen and lab, including the Branch House would be renovated during the second phase, while expansion work would take place in the third phase.
The BISD asked Tower Pinkster in 2017 to conduct a space utilization plan and master plan for the future use of the Careers Center.
