COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Michigan Department of Natural Resources conservation officer Nick Wellman told the Branch County Supervisors Association on Monday night they are still investigating the illegal killing of two bucks with a rifle last July in Noble Township.
Both deer were left to rot in the alfalfa field where they were killed. DNR officials say the crime occurred off of Himebaugh Road between St. Joseph Road and Mallow Road in Noble Township.
No arrests have been made yet but Wellman said on Monday night they are working on some more information and new leads.
