EAST LANSING, MI (WTVB) – Michigan State University senior guard Cassius Winston has been named Big Ten Player of the Week.
Winston averaged 26.5 points, 7.5 assists and 3.0 rebounds in wins over Illinois and Michigan. He currently has 1,675 points and 802 assists, making him the first player in Big Ten history with 1,600 career points and 800 career assists.
This is his first conference Player of the Week honor this season and the sixth of his career.
