COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch Intermediate School District Board of Education is scheduled to select a construction manager for the renovation project at the Branch Area Careers Center during a special meeting next Tuesday afternoon.
Superintendent Kris Jenkins said 13 bids were submitted from Michigan companies.
Four finalists were selected and interviewed.
One was chosen for board approval next Tuesday.
The estimated cost of the project is just under $4.8 million.
The work would involve renovation of the mezzanine as well as the culinary arts kitchen and lab, including the Branch House.
Expansion work will also take place.
The BISD asked Tower Pinkster in 2017 to conduct a space utilization plan and master plan for the future use of the Branch Area Careers Center.
