COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater branch of Southern Michigan Bank and Trust will be among four branches that will be implementing a phased reopening of their lobbies beginning Tuesday, June 16.
Also scheduled to reopen on Tuesday with normal operating hours are branches in Battle Creek, Constantine and Centreville.
As restrictions lessen, Southern Michigan Bank and Trust will continue to monitor updates by local and state health departments as well as the CDC regarding COVID-19.
Lobbies will remain closed on Saturdays going forward, however appointments are available if necessary. All other branches will continue functioning as drive-thru only.
Proactive measures have been taken to provide a safe and healthy environment, including floor markers and fewer teller lines to promote physical distancing.
Staff will be wearing masks when unable to maintain proper distancing.
Customers are welcome to wear masks as well. Keep in mind you may be asked to temporarily remove your mask for security and identification purposes.
Hand sanitization stations will be available in all lobbies while enhanced cleaning guidelines have been implemented with a focus on high touch surfaces.
Employees will be required to complete a daily self-screening checklist prior to arriving to the branch.
While four branches are reopening their lobbies, Southern Michigan Bank and Trust is still encouraging customers to utilize electronic services, drive-thru locations, and PTMs/ATMs.
