COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) -The multi year Implementation Plan from the Branch-St. Joseph Area Agency on Aging was presented to Branch County Commissioners during their work session Tuesday.
Agency Coordinator Laura Sutter said they hope to add counseling services for older adults in 2020 due to an increased need for mental health support.
They hope to add an adult day program in Branch County which has not been in operation in 2014 and explore Communities for a Lifetime recognition for Branch County.
The Area Agency on Aging has been offering services for Branch County senior citizens since 1996. They currently have nearly 20 different services.
A resolution of support was brought forward by commissioners to their meeting next Tuesday.
