Lisa Joy Paquin, 62, of Union City, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2026 under hospice care, surrounded by her family at Rose Arbor Hospice Place.
In keeping with Lisa’s wishes, she will be cremated and no formal services will be held.
The family is being served by Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation in Union City.
Lisa was born on September 24, 1963 to Vincent and Geraldine (Rosenwald) Hallas, Sr. in St. Paul, Minnesota. May 31, 1993, she married Noel Paquin in Union City, but they were together for many years before they were married.
Lisa was a homemaker, but also worked in a daycare and adult foster care. She liked taking care of people.
Lisa enjoyed playing games like Hearts, Crazy 8’s, and marbles. She liked watching television shows and some football, reading (especially “Little House on the Prairie”), and listening to music. She especially loved Barry Manilow.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Noel; her children, Ashley Paquin of Somerset, KY, Thomas (Kristin) Paquin of Union City, Christopher Hallas of Marshall, and Joseph Paquin of Union City; her four grandchildren; and her siblings, Scott Hallas of Woodbury, MN, Laura Hallas-Hassinger of Newport, MN, and Jennifer Hallas-Foster of Newport, MN.
In addition to her parents, Lisa was preceded in death by her son, Michael Hallas; and her siblings, Vincent Hallas, Jr., Nyla Hallas, and Benjamin Hallas.
