LANSING, MI (WTVB) – Governor Rick Snyder is being treated for a blood clot. He was admitted to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital near Ann Arbor on Thursday when he noticed his previously injured right leg was swollen. He tore the Achilles tendon in that leg while jogging last month, and had been in a walking boot for the past week. Spokesman Dave Murray said that Mr. Snyder was in good spirits, but there was no timeline for when the Chief Executive would be released as the weekend began. Public appearances are being canceled, but Murray says that the Governor is still planning to deliver his annual budget address next Wednesday.
