COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Michigan State Police Fifth District Fugitive Team has arrested a suspect in a reported Branch County sex crime that allegedly happened year and a half ago. The accused 46-year old White Pigeon man was taken into custody at the factory in Sturgis where he works.
Investigators say he assaulted a female under the age of 13 at a location on Wattles Road in Sherwood Township in July of 2013. The warrant included a life felony charge of first degree criminal sexual conduct.
The suspect’s name wasn’t released pending an arraignment in Branch County District Court.
