COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – There was a trailer home fire late last night in the City of Coldwater at Trailtree Village on North Michigan Avenue. Everyone was out of the structure when Coldwater firemen reached the scene around 11:45 p.m. They discovered a fire in an exterior wall near the front door and it was quickly extinguished. There was no fire or water damage to the interior of the Deloris Rutherford residence.
The fire department said the accidental blaze was likely started by a discarded cigarette. Coldwater firefighters were on the job for an hour.
