QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy High School Quiz Bowl team competed last Friday and Saturday at Michigan State University taking part in the Michigan Quiz Bowl State Tournament and they had a top ten finish. The senior captain of the squad is Tyler Powell with the other team members all juniors including Joe Oberlitner and Adam Oberlitner, Shane Tribble, Alex Frank, and Jared Brown.
The season for Quincy was one of the most successful in school history for the Quiz Bowl and was highlighted by championships in the Big 8 Conference, the Jackson Christian Invitational, and the 1st annual Quincy Invitational.
Quincy competed in the WKAR QuizBusters small school division and made it to the Finals, finishing as the runner-up team in the field of 32 teams.
