COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Neither rain nor high winds should keep participants away from the Branch County Fairgrounds today and tomorrow for the Branch County Relay for Life, the American Cancer Society fundraiser that lets participants and survivors celebrate what they’ve overcome, honors those who have fought or are currently fighting cancer, and remembers those who have lost the battle. The event starts at 10 this morning; the Survivor Ceremony and Lap begins at 6pm with the Survivor Dinner to follow; the Luminaria Ceremony and Remembrance Lap is at 9pm; and the Closing Ceremony will take place at 9:45 Sunday morning.
