COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – There will be plenty of opportunity to see Independence Day fireworks over the holiday weekend, starting in Union City Friday night. Games for kids and adults will begin at 7 p.m. at Alumni Field at Union City High School, with fireworks at dusk. Fireworks at Coldwater Lake will also take place Friday night at dusk.
In the city of Coldwater, the fireworks display sponsored by the Coldwater Noon and Sunrise Rotary clubs will originate at Heritage Park Saturday night. Coldwater Little League will have a concession stand and restrooms open at their diamonds adjacent to Heritage Park.
Corn Island at Quincy’s Marble Lake will also host a fireworks display Saturday night. There will be food, music, games, and a petting zoo open on the island beginning in the afternoon. The Quincy Chamber of Commerce will also host a July 4th parade Saturday at 11 a.m.
