COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The next step in the development process for a proposed apartment complex on Coldwater’s northeast side will happen tonight, as the City of Coldwater Planning Commission holds a public hearing for Sunset Meadows. The 390 unit apartment complex is being proposed by developers Mike Thompson and Chad Bush. It would be built at the corner of Carriage Circle and Anderson Drives, just northeast of the Willowbrook Plaza.
Phase One of the project is expected to cost $7 million, with Phase Two costing $3.5 million, and Phase Three costing $4 million. One single family home on the site has been purchased and will be demolished, while another one will remain.
The Planning Commission meets at 5:30 p.m. today in the Council Chambers of the Henry L.Brown Muncipal Building in Coldwater.
