COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater City Council will have a light agenda at its regular meeting on Monday night. Among the agenda items is a request to purchase a new outdoor tornado warning siren to replace the malfunctioning unit installed at the corner of Western Avenue and Farm Lane on the city’s west side. According to Public Safety Director Mark Bartell, the malfunctioning siren will not rotate and cannot be repaired.
The Coldwater Board of Education will also meet Monday night, in a special session intended to act on staffing recommendations as the 2015-16 school year begins next month.
