COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Motorists have been dealing with plenty of detours this month because of street repaving and sewer work and there’s a new project coming along next week that deserves a special advance notice because it’s a route that a lot of people use.
The State Street I-69 overpass will be closed Tuesday, September 22, 2015 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. The city says the temporary closure is necessary while the Coldwater Board of Public Utilities installs infrastructure out to the Clemens Food Group pork production facility under construction. The posted detour route will be the Newton Road overpass via North Michigan Avenue and North Fiske Road.
The CBPU apologizes for any inconvenience and asks for motorists to use caution when traveling around the work area.
