LANSING, MI (WTVB) – A slight break in monthly bills is coming for homeowners who are customers of Michigan Gas Utilities. The Michigan Public Service Commission today approved a settlement agreement authorizing MGU to implement the utility’s energy optimization plan for 2016 and 2017.
Effective January 1, 2016, the average residential customer using 100 cubic feet of natural gas per month will see a decrease of 4 cents on their monthly bills.
The state says Michigan Gas Utilities and the MPSC staff participated in the settlement.
