ALGANSEE TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A two-vehicle accident Friday afternoon in Algansee Township left three people injured. According to Branch County Sheriff’s Deputies, 40-year-old Paul Tucker of Hillsdale was driving east on Fisher Hill Rd. just before 1 p.m. when he failed to stop at the Ray-Quincy Rd. intersection and drove into the path of a northbound vehicle driven by 70-year-old Sheila Cloves of Coldwater. The impact smashed the front passenger door of the Tucker vehicle, severely injuring 53-year-old Linda Tucker of Hillsdale.
The Jaws of Life from the Quincy Fire Department were brought in to extract the injured Tuckers from their vehicle, while Cloves was hurt but not trapped. All were taken by LifeCare Ambulance to area hospitals for treatment. The accident remains under investigation.
