COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater City Manager Jeff Budd said during Monday nights City Council meeting that a group called Clean Water Action will be going door-to-door through the end of May.
Budd said they are not affiliated with the City of Coldwater or the Coldwater Board of Public Utilities.
Representatives from the national environmental organization will be trying to raise money and provide information about clean water. Budd added they have gotten approval from the police department and the group has submitted the names of persons who will be working on their behalf.
According to the groups web site, Clean Water Action has one million members who work to protect the environment.
