COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Michigan Department of Transportation says over 47 miles of highway signs will be upgraded this year along I-69 from the Michigan-Indiana state line north through Branch and Calhoun Counties.
Work is scheduled to start April 18, 2016 and be finished by the end of October.
The total cost of the project is nearly $1.2 million and MDOT says the fixes and upgrades are needed every 15 years for motorist safety.
Shoulders along the interstate will be closed during the work and there could be a small number of lane closures.
