COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch-St. Joseph Area Agency on Aging will be hosting a Public Input Forum on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the Burnside Center starting at 11:00 a.m.
The event is being held in honor of Older Americans Month.
Input will be included in the agency Multi Year Area Plan for 2017, 2018 and 2019 as well as the 2017 Annual Implementation Plan.
Those plans help determine how state and federal resources are utilized.They also determine what type of services and supports are available and help in the development of new programs and initiatives.
The Plans are reviewed and approved by the Area Agency on Aging Advisory Committee, the Area Agency on Aging Policy Board and by County Commissioners in each of the three counties the agency serves.
