EAST LANSING, MI (WTVB) – Bronson’s Daniel McMichael and Alexa Ratkowski were honored as recipients of Michigan High School Athletic Association’s Scholar-Athlete Awards during the Boys Basketball Finals at the Breslin Student Events Center in East Lansing on Saturday.
They both received $1,000 scholarships from Farm Bureau Insurance to be used at institutions of higher learning they plan to attend in the fall.
A total of 32 scholarships were awarded by Farm Bureau to students with a 3.5 or higher grade point average who have lettered in at least one sport that has a post-season tournament sponsored by the M.H.S.A.A..
