JACKSON, MI (WTVB) – You may have also noticed that you paid a lot less for fuel to heat your home this winter, and it wasn’t just the mild weather.
Consumers Energy says they are charging customers the lowest price in 18-years for Natural gas.
Consumer Energy’s Tim Sparks says the cubic foot of natural gas customers paid $8.96 for eight years ago, now costs them just $2.54 cents. That’s their new April price.
According to a press release from Consumers, it’s projected that the average household paid $250 less this winter for natural gas than the previous year.
