PLEASANT LAKE, IN (WTVB) – A man from Pleasant Lake, Indiana was arrested by the Steuben County Sheriff’s Department on Monday for an alleged sex offense involving a teenager between the ages of 14 and 16.
The Sheriff’s Department said in a news release that 47-year-old Duane Lee Walters III was booked on a level five felony of sexual misconduct with a minor.
He was being held without bond pending an initial court hearing.
The arrest was made after a report was made to the Sheriff’s Department about the alleged offense near Pleasant Lake.
Hamilton Police and the Indiana Department of Child Services assisted with the investigation.
