READING TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A Hillsdale area teenager was killed Tuesday night when his car struck a railroad crossing pole in Reading Township.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department says the accident happened just after 9:00 p.m. at the railroad crossing on South Edon Road north of Lilac Road.
16-year-old Kade Parish Moes was pronounced dead at the scene while a passenger, 18-year-old Peri –Jane Alice-Ann Rosonski of Reading was flown to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne by the Samaritan Helicopter.
The accident remains under investigation.
