HILLSDALE, MI (WTVB) – The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office says a report of a stolen vehicle in the Reading area led to an arrest on Wednesday.
While the Sheriff’s Office was on the phone with the alleged victim, another call came in from a citizen who recognized the vehicle as being stolen.
Deputies responded to the Dollar General in Hillsdale where the vehicle was recovered and the person inside arrested.
The suspect was taken to the Hillsdale County Jail. The name of the person arrested has not been released pending after an arraignment on Thursday.
