KINDERHOOK TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A Montgomery man died Thursday morning as Michigan State Police say a medical condition may have led to a crash on East Southern Road about a quarter mile east of Old 27.
Troopers say according to their preliminary investigation, the medical condition caused 59-year-old Bobby Bailey to lose consciousness. His westbound car then went off the road and struck a tree at about 7:50am.
Bailey was pronounced dead at the scene.
State Police were assisted by the Branch County Sheriff’s Office, LifeCare Ambulance and Lakeland firefighters.
